About Us

Whether you are a mama dressing her babies or a grandmother spoiling her grands, we are honored to help you celebrate life’s sweetest moments.

Wallace and Lou’s is an online children’s boutique founded by a mother and daughter who share a love for Southern charm, meaningful traditions, and timeless style. Based in East Texas, the boutique reflects their belief that childhood moments deserve clothing that is both classic and beautifully made, pieces designed to be worn for celebrations, gatherings, and all the memories in between.

Kristi is a devoted wife and mother of two adult children who built her career in education as a Family and Consumer Science teacher. Throughout her years in the classroom, she has been passionate about preparing students for life beyond school, teaching practical skills, nurturing confidence, and inspiring leadership through service to others. A lifelong love of sewing has given Kristi a deep appreciation for quality fabrics, thoughtful construction, and beautiful finishing details. She takes special joy in discovering exceptional pieces for her grandchildren and delights in helping other families find outfits that feel just right for their own little ones.

Caroline, a wife and new mother, recently transitioned from her role as a marketing director to focus on raising her family. With previous experience as a buyer at the Dallas Market, along with a lifelong appreciation for fashion, she felt called to channel her creativity into something lasting and personal. Through Wallace and Lou’s, she thoughtfully selects children’s clothing that blends elegance, versatility, and enduring style. Together, the mother daughter duo prioritize quality, choosing trusted brands that offer both beauty and value.

The name Wallace and Lou’s is a tribute to family heritage. Wallace and Halle Lou, Kristi’s beloved grandchildren, were each named in honor of their great grandparents. By combining their names, the boutique represents a seamless connection between generations, celebrating the past while embracing the present and the families they are honored to serve.
